Essence Captured Photo Shoot Check List

Choose the location(s) for your shoot.

Select clothing
Think costuming for a feature film – choose clothes that fit the location and theme. We can help with colors/design and fashion choices.

Select props
A new toy for a child perhaps, or something to sit on or hold in your picture or objects to include that speak to the theme or personality of the subject(s).

Select time of day, date and time, with an alternate if needed.

Schedule free make up session before hand if desired. Ask us for details. Allow two hours.

Consider what you want to get out of your photo shoot.
The digital images download is a standard part of your session package.

- unique print and mount services for something unique (ask me)

Review your budget and decide on products and a wish list.

Share your wish list with friends and family who may have asked for gift suggestions.
Essence Captured has gift certificates available as well. They can be pre-purchased or we can bill the purchaser when the certificate is redeemed.

Before you leave the house for your photo shoot
Changes of clothing, props, any make up for touch-ups, and grooming essentials (brush/comb, hair spray). If your photo shoot is at the beach, bring a bag for everything and a towel or blanket you can put on the sand. Think about any shoes you may need for getting TO the location vs. the shoes you want IN the photos.

Photo Release
Essence Captured asks you to sign a photo release that gives us permission to use your images for their portfolio, business promotion, photo contests, and so forth. You may decline.

After your session, set aside about 3 hours to review your images and select your favorites and create your print order or work on the project you are creating these images for. If you’re purchasing a product where the photographer picks the image(s), you can reduce the amount of time you need to review the images.

Pay your down payment / deposit and order your image product(s).

Become a “fan” of Essence Captured on Facebook and write a brief comment about your experience on our wall.

Receive your product(s) and your customer feedback survey.
We rely on your feedback to improve our services. You will receive a gift after returning your survey or providing feedback.

Return your customer feedback survey in the pre-paid envelope provided or provide feedback via email or directly with us on the phone.

Refer Essence Captured to friends. For each referral that purchases photography products or services from Essence Captured, you will receive 10% off your next product or service. Limit of 3 (30%)
